Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is an independent charity supporting a strong network of voluntary and community organisations across the Vale of Glamorgan.

We work to improve quality of life for local people and communities by supporting volunteers, volunteering opportunities and voluntary groups. Acting as a one-stop shop for the sector, we provide information, advice and guidance on all aspects of volunteering for both individuals and organisations.

Through our services and support, GVS helps voluntary organisations to grow, strengthen their practice, and better serve their communities.

Glasshouse leverages theatre for social change within the Criminal Justice System. By uniting diverse communities, we use the power of creativity to conduct impactful workshops, produce thought provoking theatre and foster dialogue to reshape perceptions of prison and those affected.

Our vision is to create trauma-informed dialogue about systemic injustice, driving social change through theatre. Glasshouse encourages active participation in criminal
justice reform by holistically engaging all impacted individuals, spanning education, the prison system and the private sector. By challenging individual and societal mindsets, attitudes and misconceptions, Glasshouse hopes to influence radical reform and abolition at policy level.

As an organisation we centre the voices of those with direct lived experience of prison, either through incarceration or frontline work. Founded by ex-Prison Officers, Glasshouse champions the stories often ignored and suppressed, from within the prison walls.

Glow is a charity on a mission to end relationship abuse, campaigning for change and providing support throughout Staffordshire and its surrounding areas.

Through a full-circle approach, Glow seeks to address the issues from every angle, ensuring that no member of the community is vulnerable to an abusive relationship.

Specialists in moving offenders into employment and education using positive psychology, CBT and NLP. We work on the thought process of offenders teaching them to take more responsibility for their lives and thus make better, more informed choices. We have worked extensively with prisons across the country.

Golden Key is an innovative and dynamic citywide partnership of people with experience of prison, homelessness, long-term mental health problems and drug and alcohol dependency, service providers, commissioners and city leaders. Led by Bristol charity, Second Step, and with an eight-year programme funded to the tune of £10 million by the Big Lottery Fund, we have a unique opportunity to change the way services respond to people with complex and multiple needs. It’s a chance to change the system and unlock services people so desperately need.

Good News Family Care Homes Ltd is a Christian-based organisation offering support through a wide range of initiatives and training projects to strengthen relationships, motivate and empower for real and lasting change, and bring hope. Our aim is to break the cycle of dysfunction for the next generation.We provide supported housing for women and children, domestic abuse refuge, 'freedom2live' a residential structured recovery programme for women,farm-based skills development training for residents, men and women on probabtion orders and from mental health services.

Good Vibrations runs gamelan (Indonesian bronze percussion) courses, in prisons and secure hospitals and with offenders and ex-offenders in the community, helping people develop crucial life- and work-skills such as communication, teamworking, creative thinking and concentration. Participants are then also more motivated to engage in other constructive activities.

Goodwill Solutions manages the Building Better Opportunities Programme, it is an initiative aimed at helping unemployed and economically inactive people from Northamptonshire, to gain vocational skills and accredited training as well as employability support to enable them to become more work-ready and enter sustainable employment.

We work with many disadvantaged groups including ex-offenders and those serving non-custodial sentences and have no offence related barriers to our engagement and support programme.

Depending on eligibility (you must be out of work, have the right to work in the UK and be resident in a Northamptonshire NN postcode) we could offer you fully funded training and support.

The Building Better Opportunities Programme is co-funded by the European Social Fund and National Lottery Community Fund.

Gordon Moody Association offers a unique and intensive residential treatment programme in the UK for those gamblers most severely addicted.

We provide advice, education and high quality innovative therapeutic support to problem gamblers and those affected by problem gambling, through residential, online and outreach services. We also run a unique service offering online support and advice to problem gamblers outside Great Britain.

GIFT was set up to support young people/young offenders and families into education, employment and training, through holistic intervention and prevention work, improving people's life chances. We also aim to make strategic partnerships with other charitable and statutory organisations in order to make best use of resources and deliver the most effective service.

Our main activities consist of mentoring, mediation, counselling and a supplementary education service. The majority of our work is with young people/young offenders from disadvantaged backgrounds. We aim to provide a culturally sensitive service to the local community, primarily made up of people from Black and Ethnic minority backgrounds with low educational achievement and high unemployment

Grassroots Enterprise for Social Inclusion and Poverty Relief (GESIPR) believes in empowering communities, groups and individuals that have been excluded from society
for one reason or the other and as a result are inhibited from exploring and attaining their full potentials as individuals and community assets.
We identify and serve people deeply affected by social injustice: domestic abuse survivors, ex-offenders, disadvantaged young people, the homeless, asylum seekers, and single parents and families living in poverty, who are falling through cracks in the
system without any other viable support. Our mission is to help these people and their communities access equal opportunities, harness their potential and regain their confidence and value. Our methods for helping them vary, as we take a holistic approach to solving problems. We aim to partner with existing services and voluntary agencies to fill gaps in service delivery for the communities in which we work.

GMCC supports both men and women from custody to community. We work both with people of faith and with those who have none, helping them, through our IAG service and link partners, to resettle on release. Each ex-offender is given a mentor to help this process.

We are an alliance of 9 Women's Centres across GM, all of whom support women with a variety of issues such as DV, Drugs & Alcohol, CJS, Homelessness etc. The Alliance itself does not work directly with women but enables the Women's Centres to work collaboratively across GM with each other and other partner organisations.

Through a network of Christian partners Green Pastures provides sustainable tenancies for those who are homeless or having difficulty finding housing, with linked support and advice and practical support to achieve this. It also provides support and advice to non-tenants.

Greener Ipswich CIC (established May 2024) provides horticultural services to organisations in and around Ipswich. The four directors are unpaid volunteers. We engage members of the community as volunteers but employ - currently on a part-time basis only - newly released people from HMP Hollesley Bay. To date, we are supporting four former prisoners, all released since January 2025. We also offer practical work for one day a week for serving prisoners released on temporary licence (ROTL). We have a strong relationship with the horticultural unit at Hollesley Bay which provides a service for us, raising some of the plants for the schemes we are commissioned to manage.

GreenSquareAccord has been established for over 50 years, and provides accommodation-related support to ex-offenders who are at risk of homelessness. We work throughout the Midlands and currently support approximately 300 clients in Trust accommodation or through our floating support services - one of our properties is designated for ex-service personnel involved in the CJS. We additionally provide Specified Activity Requirement contracts for female offenders (Coventry & Warwickshire); resettlement services from Approved Premises across the West Midlands and the Birmingham Homeless Offender Resettlement Unit in Birmingham; and deliver a Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme in Coventry.

The Trust employs a dedicated Employment & Skills Advisor to work with our clients, supporting access to job markets, self-employment and training/educational opportunities.

The Trust is building its bank of volunteers and is proactive in employing and engaging ex-offenders.

GAD was established 38 years ago to be a major source for positive change in society's perception of disabled people and to empower disabled people.

We deliver a wide range of services for disabled people in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and surrounding boroughs including:

The Griffins Society researches and promotes effective practice in working with women who are in prison or subject to criminal justice interventions in the community.

The world for children, young people, and adults is changing at a rate that presents them with significant challenges, pressures, and barriers. Now, more than ever, they need consistent guidance and expectations, positive role models, and activities that keep them occupied and engaged.

Gro-Mentoring has been delivering award-winning mentoring services since 2010, transforming the lives of children and young people, and adults in the Midlands. We work with primary schools, secondary schools, and pupil referral units, prisons and probation to support all children and young people and adults, including those at risk of educational exclusion or anti-social and/or criminal behaviour in adolescence and early adult life.
