ARCH Teesside is a registered charity and specialist provider of sexual violence services offering support to males and females since 1997. We are an inclusive service, working to an empowerment model that strives to put clients at the core of what we do and we provide support whether the incident is current, recent or historic. With strong roots in the local community, we have evolved from a volunteer led, domestic abuse project to a leading provider of specialist sexual violence support on Teesside.
Our skilled workforce offers support to victims/survivors of sexual violence, as well as family members and other witnesses who may have been affected by these crimes. Based at the heart of the communities we support, our highly experienced team works using a non-judgemental and supportive approach, empowering people to take back control, and to cope and recover from their ordeal.
We provide a variety of services to help meet our client’s needs.

Reducing the impact of social exclusion by providing specialist housing for ex-offenders
Ark Resettlement Services (ARKRS) are dedicated to reducing crime and reoffending across London. We design and deliver programmes that equip people with the skills, advice, attitude and support they need to move their lives on and move away from crime.

We work with people from all disadvantaged backgrounds, all equality protected characteristics; also: suffering from poverty, deprivation, homelessness, addictions, ex-prisoners, past convictions, abuse, neurodiversity, isolation...

We are grassroots, equality and lived experience founded and led, are in close contact with the beneficiaries we are supporting.

We provide writing and publishing services, which include writing for wellbeing, improving educational and career related writing skills, employability, social integration, improving mental health and tackling isolation, mentoring and editing support to get into publishing and journalism.

We run writing workshops for prisoners, motivational writing competitions which tackle stigma and aid social integration, also innovational book publishing projects.

We provide supervised work placements, arrange accessible and inclusive cultural and social events. Our beneficiaries can join us as volunteers, staff, and trustees

Arooj is an independent charity which provides support to Muslim and BAME offenders/ex-offenders, to help them overcome the barriers they face during custody and upon release.

We recognise the importance of understanding each service user’s faith and culture and use a holistic approach to provide practical support which takes these factors into account.

Our support is aimed at preventing and reducing re-offending by increasing family and community understanding and involvement.

Arterne CIC is a not for profit community interest company supporting individuals, families, agencies, businesses and communities to thrive. The support we offer is delivered through projects and training that promotes and supports mental health. We focus on reducing anxieties; promote mental health and help to minimise harm people cause to themselves; minimise suicidal ideation and behaviours; provide support for building positive relationships; tackle substance use where is has become problematic or where support for maintaining changes is required; care leaver support; support for people who have accessed the criminal justice system and require support to integrate in the community; support for homelessness issues; help to reduce loneliness and social isolation; help with poverty or financial worries; we want people to thrive and feel like they are achieving positive things; across all age ranges.

Artlink Central has extensive experience of delivering cultural opportunities to offenders and have had significant success in capturing strong evaluation of our work. After a strong three year programme which ended in 2010, we have evolved a range of initiatives supporting women in criminal justice settings and exploring creative opportunities and pathways for offenders and ex-offenders in the community.

Arts Award offers qualifications to young people under 25 that develop their creativity, leadership and communication skills. Arts Award can be delivered by any service or setting offering arts, cultural or media activities, and can be embedded in a variety of youth-work focused projects or environments.

It provides a highly accessible framework for creative development, combining the appeal of the arts with the motivation of a qualification. Arts Award also provides an effective means to deliver key youth work, restorative justice and re-proration including supporting young people’s personal and social development, raising young people’s aspirations and ensuring all young people are able to participate and achieve in education or training.

Aspire is an Oxfordshire based employment charity which creates and brokers accessible, meaningful work placement, training and paid employment opportunities for individuals facing complex barriers to work - including on our own social enterprises, delivering grounds and property maintenance to commercial, public and private customers.

Aspire runs its own 'Through the Gate' project, engaging offenders in HMP Spring Hill and Bullingdon, as well as ex-offenders in the community in Oxfordshire, Milton Keynes and High Wycombe.

Asylum Welcome runs an advice and support service at the community in Oxford where we support asylum seekers, refugees, and vulnerable migrants.
For 25 years we also supported immigration detainees at Campsfield House Immigration removal Centre.
We look after unaccompanied asylum-seeking children arriving in Oxfordshire
We provide advice and practical help on a wide range of topics, registered at OISC Level 2 for advice on immigration and asylum.
We teach people English so they can be more independent.
We work closely with lawyers to support access to rights.
We enable refugees to raise their voices and advocate for better asylum policies.
We visit inmates of HMP Huntercombe and facilitate their access to immigration representation, property retrieval, language support and some support once they re-enter the community.

We are a Community Interest Company bringing business and IT skills to those who need it most. Our professional training is provided alongside dedicated learner support services to provide employment opportunities within local communities.

Our support services include online coaching, dedicated mentors, career advice and guidance and signpost services to other local community organisations specialising in a variety of areas. By partnering with local businesses we are able to provide work experience, work placements, volunteering opportunities and internships for all learners that complete a course with us.

BAC-IN is a culturally specific, Peer Led, award winning, 'grass roots' drug and alcohol recovery service. In 2003 BAC-IN developed a unique and successful 'transformative recovery' programme designed to help the Black and Minority Ethnic communities with recovery focused and offender rehabilitation support.

BAC-IN uses an integrated and culturally competent approach, which offers a diverse range of services designed to maximise transformative recovery, supporting individuals to take personal responsibility so that they may achieve freedom from addiction and become productive individuals within their communities.

Whilst BAC-IN is a culturally specific service, it is not culturally exclusive. We work in partnership across all sections of society, sharing good practice, consortia work and consultancy.

Back on Track is a Manchester charity that enables disadvantaged adults to make lasting, positive changes in their lives. We work with people who are going through a process of recovery or rehabilitation, having been through problems with offending, alcohol or drugs, homelessness or mental health.

We have a busy and welcoming learning centre in central Manchester where we offer a range of support and activities including training courses, one to one guidance and work experience.

Our progression team work closely with local employers to provide support with employability. We have an on-site cafe and training kitchen which allows us to offer work placements and employment.

We are part of a network of charities who are working across Greater Manchester to deliver The Wellbeing Service, part of the region’s integrated resettlement programmes. The programme works with people on probation to improve their mental health and wellbeing, through both 1:1 and group interventions.

Back On Track Housing is a community support organisation providing long-term, sustainable private accommodation and support for vulnerable people, we have been working with vulnerable homeless individuals for the last 10 months. These individuals have been referred by organisations such as the local authorities, charities organisations and NHS. Back on Track desire to reach out and develop this further by housing vulnerable homeless individuals who are not eligible under the housing act for referral i.e. rough sleepers, ex offenders, ex drugs and alcohol users and many young vulnerable adults.

We provide facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupations in the interests of social welfare, for those who by reason of their crimes, youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstance, have need of such facilities. Back On Track working in partnership with music industry to help some of our client who is inclined/has a natural talent for music to produce and working in partnership with local business enterprises for as many that has difficulty in securing jobs for reason of their criminal records.

We have an extensive database of Private Sector Landlords across London that support us in providing self contained and shared accommodation, our landlord’s waiver all deposits, agreed to accept one month’s rent in advance and accept client on housing benefit. All rents are within LHA across London.

All properties are inspected by a member of our team to ensure all safety certificates are in place prior to client’s viewings and we are accredited by London landlord Accreditation Scheme. We can house in the same day of referral and provide on- going service for our clients 24/7.

Back On Track are now working in partnership with food bank in London ie. NCC edmonton food bank where we arrange collection for some of our clients to settle into a new accommodation or community.

We provide grants to serving prisoners, ex-offenders and their families living within the County of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. Requests for assistance come through the Probation Service, the BACO Support Service in prisons, and other charitable organisations. We work in co-operation with both the Prison Service and Probation, but independently of both. We hold seminars to raise our profile and bring issues of concern and interest in the field of criminal justice to a wider audience.

Bail Trust will be working with ex offenders offering Training & Employment Opportunities from the new centre based in Waltham Forrest where we will work with and employ mentors & volunteers once we are up and running. The rehabilitation programme is based on the organisation delivering the complete package with an assessment of needs for day treatment services along with functional skills test diagnostics for numeracy literacy ICT then we tailor a programme for each service user where we will deliver support right through including vocational training in construction not only job ready training also help with employment and any barriers each service user is facing as a new start the concentration will be (construction) how ever we will be looking to expand and grow our net work to help and support pathways in to different industries and sectors.

Barca-Leeds is a multi-purpose charity in Bramley, Leeds, West Yorkshire. We provide specialist services to help people overcome a broad range of issues. Barca-Leeds supports all members of the local community, from children and young people to adults and families.

Barca-Leeds is a neighborhood focused, voluntary sector, community development organisation. It works in a multi-purpose way, helping all the children, young people and adults for whom it provides health and education services to reach their full potential. in doing so, it aims to help them make a positive contribution to the social and economic well being of their community.

We carry out research and evaluation work in the areas of crime and disorder, prisons, anti-social behaviour and reducing reoffending. This work includes evaluations both formative and summative; research for feasibility purposes; investigations to identify the extent of, and reasons behind, crime and disorder; and evaluating the effectiveness of initiatives.

Barefoot Research and Evaluation also coordinates and administers the North East Offender Network (Neon) on behalf of Voluntary Organisations Network North East (VONNE).

Barnabus are a Christian Homeless Charity in Manchester. We offer a lifeline to around 350 vulnerable and homeless people every week, many of whom have severe addictions or mental health issues. We have our own drop-in, medical suite and offer a range of classes help with an allotment and Street Soccer Project. We visit the Red Light District and Outreach workers support prisoners due for release.
