SevenThreeOne is a non-profit organisation that uses the Creative Industries to further the education and skills of serving prisoners, ex-offenders and disengaged young people. One of the ways we do this is through the provision of training centres based within Prisons and the Community.

The foundation of our work comes from our Christian values as an organisation, whilst our message and ethos is simple; we provide without equivocation, we give with no question and we love as we are loved.

In order to succeed, we have SEVEN goals, achievable by THREE strategies and measured by ONE outcome.

Severn Arts, a thriving charitable arts company formed in June 2018, brings high quality music and arts to a wide range of people across Worcestershire through innovative partnership working. We lead Worcestershire's Music Education Hub, deliver an arts programme on behalf of Worcestershire County Council, support the Local Cultural Education Partnership and deliver a three-year Festivals programme. Severn Arts is committed to offering new, inclusive arts activities that focus on widening access to the arts for all, with a particular emphasis on children and young people.

SEWREC is a former 'Race Equality Council' that now works across all of the 9 protected characteristics set out by the Equality Act and the Welsh language. Our aims are to 1).support people who have been discriminated against or abused because of who they are, 2). bring people from different backgrounds together and 3). challenge inequality of opportunity through personal and community development and through training programmes.

Shannon Trust is a national charity supporting people in the criminal justice system to learn to read, and improve other basic skills. Currently, 62% of people that end up in prison either can't read or struggle to. Shannon Trust inspires and trains prisoners who can read to teach prisoners who can’t, so they're better set up for a positive future. We also support people in prison with basic maths.

In the community, we work with partner organisations supporting people to learn to read in the same peer-led way.

Since September 2016, we have pioneered Shared Enterprise Clubs, a way of supporting marginalised people to unleash their entrepreneurial potential. The Clubs provide an inclusive and welcoming space for people to develop their entrepreneurial ambitions and inspire and learn from each other whilst developing confidence and skills such as creativity, adaptability, resilience, teamwork and social networks.

Shared Enterprise Clubs engage with people who are thinking however vaguely about starting a business. They are informal and flexible. They foster a peer-support and user-led approach. Although participants learn the basics about business, the main outcomes are confidence and the entrepreneurial skills which are essential skills not only for business but for everyday life. We currently run a Club at Huntercombe Prison. We also deliver stand alone enterprise workshops, challenges and tournaments, using enterprise games which we have developed with Club participants.

Shaw Trust was formed as a charity, in 1982, to ensure the most severely disabled people had employment opportunities outside sheltered workshops. Now we are one of the largest national third sector providers of welfare to work and social care programmes, having supported over 450,000 individuals towards independence. Our portfolio of provision includes a Work Programme prime contract as well as subcontracts in 6 Contract Package Areas, 17 Work Choice contracts to support people with severe health problems or disabilities into work, skills training contracts, and the management of 50 charity shops and social enterprises- which provide many disadvantaged individuals with their first stepping stone towards sustained employment or independence.
In 2012, Shaw Trust and Careers Development Group (CDG) announced a merger of the two organisations; this blend of two of the UK’s leading employment support charities will strengthen our service delivery, and open up new opportunities.

Sheffield Mind is a mental health charity offering a range of services that support mental wellbeing across all communities in Sheffield.

We have been delivering mental health services in the city for over 40 years. We're proud to have been able to source funding and work with partners to maintain provision of free services despite a changing landscape and much greater competition for available financial resources.

We work with adults over the age of eighteen and provide a range of services to address multiple and complex mental health needs.

We have previously worked under contract to a community rehabilitation company providing therapeutic services to custody leavers.

Founded 1992,SWWOP the only specialist project in Sheffield intensely supporting vulnerable women involved in street prostitution & other areas of ‘sex work’. We provide an outreach service to women in street prostitution (via a specially equipped van) which includes condom distribution, satellite needle exchange, ‘dodgy punter’ information & referral to our EXIT support work; follow-up assistance -practical, social & medical interventions e.g. STI screening; crisis interventions re drug treatment relapse, pregnancy, food parcels, homelessness, counselling & much more. We also provide in-reach to a local prison; and intensive support packages to clients wishing to exit street prostitution. We work with partner agencies to improve services for the women e.g. probation, the courts, Police, social services, Key Changes, Addaction, CSE & many other agencies needed by this vulnerable group.
SWWOP also provides information/presentations to other agencies,communities

Our service operates in 12 prisons across the North West region. We offer prisoners a specialist housing, finance and debt advice and advocacy service; we also offer prisoners training courses in budgeting, dealing with debt, and housing rights. Shelter offer free, confidential and independent advice and information to people with housing related problems. This includes services delivered under the MoJ's Dynamic Framework in Yorkshire and The Humber and East Midlands. Shelter deliver accommodation interventions to service users and expert advice and training to professionals, in order to support people subject to probation supervision to resettle in their communities.

Shelter Cymru is a national people and homes charity, with a vision that everyone in Wales should have a decent and affordable home. Shelter Cymru’s mission is to improve people’s lives through our advice and support services and through training, education and information work. Through our policy, research, campaigning and lobbying, we help overcome the barriers that stand in the way of people in Wales having a decent affordable home. Shelter Cymru has a track record in working with prisoners, ex-prisoners and people on probation having delivered housing advice partnerships with North Wales and Dyfed Powys Probation Services and delivering Prison Link Cymru in North Wales, a Welsh Government funded service focussing on avoiding homelessness on prison release.

Our Service operates in 5 prisons across the North East. We offer prisoners a specialist housing, debt advice and advocacy service. We also offer prisoners training courses in budgeting including benefit changes, dealing with debt and practicalities of housing options. The Service enagages prisoners to be peers to assist with delivering training and advice.

This organisation provides specialist housing and homelessness advice and advocacy for clients in eight prison sites across Yorkshire and Humberside.

SherlockAI is a not-for-profit CIC who passionately believe in supporting those engaged with the criminal justice system to create better lives for themselves and our communities. We are a team of people with lived experience of the criminal justice system, Probation workers and people who have years of experience within the third sector. We combine this experience to provide excellent service to our partners. Our goal is to leverage emerging AI technology to create better outcomes for people engaged with the criminal justice system.

​But we're just getting started. We want to evolve SherlockAI into a personalised life coach companion to help each individual achieve better outcomes. We do that better as a team working with partners.

Shewise is a charity. We work with women from diverse communities and backgrounds; enabling, assisting, and inspiring them to believe in their abilities, to flourish in both new and existing businesses and in employment. We work with women and girls from all walks of life regardless of age, ethnicity, and religion.
We support them through the provision of guidance, casework support, counselling, advice, outreach, and signposting along with our training programs that help them to build their confidence, self-esteem, positive self-identity, and develop their skills enabling them to make real positive changes in their lives.

Siarad Da is a non profit making organisation, founded by Dr April May Kitchener as a response to a demand for specialist training.
Siarad Da’s critical aim is to promote understanding and awareness of the hidden disability that many people live with, particularly those in our CJS or experiencing school and social exclusion. Receptive, expressive and pragmatic language disorders impact on all aspects of a person’s life, often presenting as challenging and inappropriate behaviour. We support:
– professionals to develop extra tools that will enable them to be more effective in their communication and management of clients
– individuals struggling to appropriately express their needs and to support them to better understand consequences and expectations
– families to better understand the difficulties of loved ones, providing help and guidance to put in place strategies to use in their homes to develop clear communication

SIFA Fireside is a dynamic Birmingham based charity which works to tackle homelessness and alcohol misuse. We also deliver restorative justice and assist ex-offenders and other marginalised groups to access employment, education and volunteering. We are based in Digbeth, and work with people aged 18 and over with no upper age limit. The Drop In is open Monday-Friday from 9am until 1pm. Breakfast is served from 9am-10am, and lunch is served from 12pm until 12.45pm. We run a shorter session on Saturday and Sunday from 10.30am-11.30am. No food is served at weekends but tea, coffee and biscuits are on offer. Restorative justice aims to repair the harm caused by offending. This service is open to anyone over 18, victim or offender. The only exclusions are serious offences (murder, sex crimes and domestic violence). The Changing Lives team work with ex-offenders, providing support to find work, training or volunteer placements. We also offer a job club and outreach support

Sing Inside takes day long singing workshops into prisons around the country, working with groups of student volunteers and creating a larger choir with participants from within the prisons we visit. We teach a series of songs by ear to everyone at the same time, avoiding distancing prison volunteers from external volunteers, and everyone performs together at a short concert in the afternoon. our workshops aim to encourage self-confidence and self-worth, and a belief in the positive impact prison residents can have on group activities, by allowing them a liberating creative and social space in which to work towards a goal. Sing Inside utilises the power of group singing to draw together a community quickly, improving relationships between residents and external volunteers, as well as including prison staff. Our workshops encourage faith in supportive external communities and hope for positive contribution to group activities upon release through group singing.

Founded in 1977 by a group of rough sleepers, SHP is now a large London based charity which supports approximately 7,000 vulnerable people a year. In addition to large generic floating support services which support peoples holistic needs, SHP provides a range of specialist floating supoprt and accommodation based services to people with: Offending histories (including services dedicated to PPO's and those subject to MAPPA), mental health issues (including complex forensic needs) and substance misuse issues. In addition SHP provides Housing Advice Workers (HAWk) to 11 Probation areas accross London. SHP also provides floating support and accommodation services to young people as well as Aftercare, Recovery and employment services.

Sixty-One is a Bristol-based charity that supports people with a criminal conviction to lead meaningful lives away from crime. We also equip individuals, churches, charities and businesses to provide the relational and community-based support that can empower someone with a conviction to live free from crime.

MentorMe is our biggest project and pairs rigorously-trained volunteer mentors from over 40 local Christian congregations, with men or women with a criminal conviction who are:

- Resident in Bristol

- Ready to move away from criminal activity

- Motivated to work on positive identified goals

Mentoring is non-faith based and is open to people of all faiths and none.

MentorMe receives referrals from statutory and voluntary-sector agencies within prison and in the community.

We also have a strong network of churches across our area that host mid-week welcoming spaces for people with a criminal conviction.
