Equus Solutions delivers Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) to a number of client groups; the programmes embrace addiction therapy, mental health problems, depression, eating disorders, trauma and PTSD. We also deliver a programme of therapeutic riding for autistic clients and others with physical and learning disabilities. In addition, we run a programme of work experience and life-skills improvement.

We are a North Wales based community arts organisation bringing arts - including writing, visual arts and photography - closer to people who are furthest away from them through social, economic or health reasons.
Members of The Altered Images project at Ty Newydd Approved Premises, Bangor, for men newly released from prison, recently won five Koestler Awards. The project started in January 2014. In November 2015, with ACW funding, Altered Images extended to Plas yn Wern Approved Premises, near Wrexham. In 2014 we ran The Word:Conwy:Y Gair, a celebration of words in all forms from poetry to rap, comic strips to braille, sign language, graffiti art, fiction, comic strips, songs...planned again for 2016. TEA also organise weekly poetry and arts activities for older people in lunch centres and hospital in North Wales

ESCAPE Family Support provides support and interventions to drug and alcohol users and their families in Northumberland, including those involved in the Criminal Justice System.

Escaping Victimhood was founded in 2007 by criminal justice professionals, who saw that many victims of serious crimes (such as the murder of a child) had extensive and on-going needs that were not being met.

We deliver four day (plus a one day follow up day) residential workshops designed to enable participants to ‘understand the past and embrace the future’. We also inform those working with victims of serious crime about the impact of trauma in their lives.

Our programme was developed to address the issues and helps restore participants to a more 'normal' life. It is unique and is delivered by skilled and professional facilitators. They are overseen by a lead facilitator, who is a highly experienced victim liaison worker and ensures strong and safe leadership of the workshop. . The structure of the programme is psycho-educative and therapeutic (with a small t) in a generic rather than specific sense.

Everlasting Evangelical Ministry is a faith-based charity which aims at help the East London borough of Newham, one of the six poorest London boroughs with a high crime rate among its young people. Everlasting Evangelical Ministry has begun consultation on a pilot project to provide education, employment, befriending and monitoring services to those young people in Newham who have experience of the Criminal Justice System. This project aims at helping young offenders to reintegrate into the society and therefore eradicate the probability of reoffending.

We work with people with lived experience of the criminal justice system to help them create their own employment and peer support networks by developing their own co-operative enterprises.

Exeter Citizens Advice Bureau aims:

Exeter Citizens Advice Bureau provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination.

Exeter Community Initiatives (ECI) is a local charity that was started in 1993. The initial aim was to help local people facing poverty and homelessness, through projects such as St. Petrock’s. Since then our work has expanded to include Children’s Centres; projects that help the unemployed back to work; schemes to promote community cohesion and a mentoring service to support independent living. We work with Police, Health and Social Services to identify and support some of the most vulnerable families in the city.

We provide:
Family Support and group activities for any family in central Exeter with children under 5.
Adult mentoring through our Transitions project. We train and match volunteers to help adults make a transition into independent living.
1:1 support to families with children of any age who are struggling to cope with parenting or emotional and practical issues.
Employability and life skills for excluded young people.

Expia Ltd is a charitable company limited by guarantee which aims to reduce re-offending by:

Providing employment and supporting the education and training of risk assessed prisoners at the jailhouse cafes and gardens.
Seeking links to next steps to external employment.
Marketing products and services produced by prison workshops.
Helping prisoners to make reparation for their crimes by volunteering and helping in the local community.

Extern works with children, adults, and communities affected by social exclusion through programmes delivered locally and directly to clients. Extern offers a comprehensive service for adult offenders and provides in-house independent life skills, personal developments for residents, monitoring and support.
Through 30 years of enterprise, innovation and experience we have developed services that help ensure that families and children stay together, people have somewhere to live, offending is reduced and that we can all live in a safe, fair and inclusive society. We work with people because the risk is worth taking and because we believe that everyone can make a positive contribution to society.
Extern delivers: Outreach and accommodation for people who homeless; Resettling, monitoring and supervision of people who have offended;Early intervention and prevention work with children, young people and their families Learning and skills for those who are homeless and who are excluded.

Fair Shares runs Time Banks in Gloucestershire which focus on two way volunteering which is explained more fully below. We began our work with the prison estate with HMP Gloucester and this successful partnership continued for six years, until the prison closed in 2013. We are currently working with HMP Leyhill, HMP Erlestoke and HMP Eastwood Park and are developing work with HMP Dartmoor. Time Banking is a great way of engaging with all members of our communities and benefits on a number of social, health and economic levels. Our participants in the prisons are either involved in Times2, our Maths peer mentoring scheme or volunteer for other organisations and use time banking to add extra value to the work that they already undertake.
Time Banking is a system of two-way volunteering; for every hour of your time you put in, you earn an hour of help in return or you can decide to give those hours to help those in the community who need extra support via the goodwill pot.

FASO is a voluntary organisation dedicated to providing support to anyone affected by a false sexual offence allegation or child protection issue.

FFOPS supports families and friends of prisoners through the Criminal Justice System and helps those who are struggling emotionally, physically and economically. FFOPS manages the Visitors' Centre at HMP Swansea.

We offer a range of services and opportunities that provides inspiration and guidance:
• We encourage education, so we will show young people how to get into college, improve their skills and get qualifications. We help young people develop personally and socially - giving them the strength to reject violence and a life of crime.
• We improve relationships between fathers and sons, motivating them to realise their potential, raise their aspirations and build themselves a brighter future.
• We establish partnerships with parents, schools, community groups and local authorities. That way we can step in and help those young men at greatest risk of being sucked into gangs. We show them where they can get help and stay out of trouble.

Families Anonymous is a self-help fellowship, based on the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, with about 50 local meetings in the UK of families and friends affected by another's drug abuse. The focus is on the family and supporting them in coping with addicts and on helping them to put their lives back together. Families Anonymous is non-religious and non-affiliated, and is funded by its members' voluntary contributions; there are family groups all over the UK.

Our organisation peer supports families bereaved from acts of homicide and culpable road death. We also have a childrens group called OLLY that supports children who have not only been bereaved through acts of violence or road death but OLLY also introduces children from areas of high deprivation and poverty within areas of high crime rate. FFFJ also educates and deters our younger generation away from criminal activity or gang involvement, working also with families on a package designed for the family that need help and support with whatever the problems are within that family. Both organisations are run by qualified volunteers.

Family Action is a charity committed to building stronger families and brighter lives. We help individuals and communities address the challenges they face through practical, emotional and financial support. We support over 60,000 families and hundreds of thousands of children across the country each year through a wide range of national programmes and local services. Our work includes help for parents-to-be, parenting and relationship support, the provision of many nurseries and Children’s Centres in local communities, intensive family support, emotional health and wellbeing services, counselling, mediation and therapies, a range of mental health services including supported housing, wellbeing support in schools and GP surgeries, financial grants programmes and a range of training and consultancy services. We deliver support to women in the Mother and Baby Unit and pregnant women in HMP Styal.

Our advisers help explain the maze of childcare law and local authority processes, with the aim of helping more children to remain living safely within their own families.
