Greener Ipswich CIC (established May 2024) provides horticultural services to organisations in and around Ipswich. The four directors are unpaid volunteers. We engage members of the community as volunteers but employ - currently on a part-time basis only - newly released people from HMP Hollesley Bay. To date, we are supporting four former prisoners, all released since January 2025. We also offer practical work for one day a week for serving prisoners released on temporary licence (ROTL). We have a strong relationship with the horticultural unit at Hollesley Bay which provides a service for us, raising some of the plants for the schemes we are commissioned to manage.

GreenSquareAccord has been established for over 50 years, and provides accommodation-related support to ex-offenders who are at risk of homelessness. We work throughout the Midlands and currently support approximately 300 clients in Trust accommodation or through our floating support services - one of our properties is designated for ex-service personnel involved in the CJS. We additionally provide Specified Activity Requirement contracts for female offenders (Coventry & Warwickshire); resettlement services from Approved Premises across the West Midlands and the Birmingham Homeless Offender Resettlement Unit in Birmingham; and deliver a Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme in Coventry.

The Trust employs a dedicated Employment & Skills Advisor to work with our clients, supporting access to job markets, self-employment and training/educational opportunities.

The Trust is building its bank of volunteers and is proactive in employing and engaging ex-offenders.

GAD was established 38 years ago to be a major source for positive change in society's perception of disabled people and to empower disabled people.

We deliver a wide range of services for disabled people in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and surrounding boroughs including:

- Personal Assistants (home care) for adults
- Personal Assistants for children and young people
- Employment services
- Healthy living
- Benefit advice, housing advice and advocacy
- Hate crime advocacy
- Social groups
- Volunteering

The Griffins Society researches and promotes effective practice in working with women who are in prison or subject to criminal justice interventions in the community.

The world for children, young people, and adults is changing at a rate that presents them with significant challenges, pressures, and barriers. Now, more than ever, they need consistent guidance and expectations, positive role models, and activities that keep them occupied and engaged.

Gro-Mentoring has been delivering award-winning mentoring services since 2010, transforming the lives of children and young people, and adults in the Midlands. We work with primary schools, secondary schools, and pupil referral units, prisons and probation to support all children and young people and adults, including those at risk of educational exclusion or anti-social and/or criminal behaviour in adolescence and early adult life.

Everything we do is done with passion, care, and quality. We look forward to showing you the difference our mentors make.

Gro-Organic works with a number of organisations to bring about a positive way forward for people in the criminal justice system. Through our community projects we enable people to see how their actions have impacted upon their local community, and we aim to put in place a restorative strategy to repair the harm they’ve done.

A wide variety of ages take part in our schemes, including some of school age. Generally speaking we work with 12 years old upwards, with no upper limit. But we have found that breaking down inter-generational barriers in mixed groups helps with rehabilitation.

We encourage participants to create positive approach to prevent conflict and create harm, and we tailor our activities to the original crime. For example, we may use community projects such as fence repairs for those involved in vandalism. But we also take on those involved in much more serious crimes such as armed robbery.

The programme has proven incredibly successful that some of those we have rehabilitated have gone onto to take RHS qualifications and even set-up their own food-related business. Our programmes have helped to show a reduction in re-offending

Even if people are already on the path to prison, we have shown they are less likely to get into further trouble inside, as there’s something to look forward to on the outside – support and community, and a sense of purpose.

We work with a range of bodies including:
- Prison and probation services
- Local police (including police and crime commissioners)
- Children’s services
- Young offending teams (YOT)
- Self-referrals (some young people who have nothing to do will contact us in fear of committing future offences)
- Employers or workplaces (rehabilitation rather than dismissal is preferred)

Groundwork Greater Nottingham is a charity working with deprived communities in Nottingham City and three of its boroughs - Gedling, Broxtowe and Rushcliffe. We provide activities for young people, children and ex-offenders, and learning about environment and food. We support prisoners and ex-offenders on their release from HMP Nottingham into training and employment.

Groundwork works across Leeds, Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees to help people and organisations make changes in order to create better neighbourhoods, to build skills and job prospects, and to live and work in a greener way.

Groundwork North Wales focuses activity on disadvantaged communities, creating opportunities that benefit people and the wider environment.

Group Horizon are a national training provider offering full apprenticeships, traineeships and a variety of short courses relevant to the current jobs market, to support people back into employment, with specialism within the Construction, Manufacturing, Smart Meter, low carbon and renewable energy sectors. We also provide a free tailored job matching services for employers. We work with people aged 16 upwards across many disciplines, with focus on moving people closer to the jobs market.

Grow Inspires supports social inclusion through entrepreneurship. We believe that rehabilitation requires a holistic approach that changes mindset and motivation to work with society rather than against it. Our Lottery funded programmes start with the strengths and aspirations of individuals and channel them into the best way to make legitimate money from their skills. Rather than teaching participants about enterprise, we empower them through entrepreneurship, providing highly practical coaching to develop a sustainable business. Our model uses group coaching where participants provide mutual support and learn from each other.

We also coach business people to become mentors for young entrepreneurs and source mentors for our participants from outside the offender community to improve integration with the outside world.

We have gardening and maintenance contracts with local authorities, businesses, housing associations and community groups. We support each volunteer to look for work, often within our partnership network. We have experienced consultants working for us who are skilled at working with employers to break down any apprehensions thay may have.

Growing For Good creates botanic designs that change lives. Our interior landscaping and maintenance makes indoor and outdoor living and working areas healthier, happier, more productive and creative. Our plants are grown in the greenhouses at East Sutton Park Prison and Young Offenders Institute, where the women enjoy the physical and mental health benefits associated with caring for plants, whilst working toward a horticultural qualification. Through this work, the women gain employable skills and confidence, preparing for a good job and a good life outside of prison.

Growing for Life provides an integrated horticulture learning programme enabling participants to grow in the widest sense. Working in prisons around the South West, we are also creating projects outside prisons, where people develop life skills and qualifications to improve their employability. Our first project is outside Torquay, and we are expanding the scheme elsewhere in the South West.

We deliver a range of information, advice and guidance, and community based services which are person centred and designed to promote independence, wellbeing, quality of life and to delay the need for intensive interventions.

Hertfordshire Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders (HACRO) is a charity that helps people who have been on the wrong side of the law to turn their lives around. We do this by delivering family support and ex-offender employment programmes – both proven to reduce re-offending.

Hafal (meaning 'equal') is the principal organisation in Wales working with individuals recovering from serious mental illness and their families. As a member led Charity, we were founded 20 years ago on the belief that people who have direct experience of mental illness know best how services can and should be delivered. Providing support across all 7 local health board areas of Wales and delivering over 76 projects, Hafal is dedicated to empowering people with serious mental illness and their families to:
