Family Forum Coordinator - Hear Our Voice

Do you have what it takes to work together with prisoners' families to help prisoners achieve better outcomes?

We have an exciting new role based in and around HMP Ranby to lead on the development of a Families' Forum where prison staff, Pact staff and families all work together to create a family friendly environment and where the voice of family around reducing re-offending is valued and heard. 

This role will be key to fostering a strong partnership approach and supporting families’ engagement with regimes. It will support our work to represent  the voice of prisoners' families and facilitate a partnership approach for strategic change. 

About You

We're looking for someone who is naturally great at connecting and communicating with people of all backgrounds.

You'll be empathetic yet resilient, calm under pressure, organised and flexible - ready to work hard to deliver outstanding results.

You'll, of course, come armed with experience and/or knowledge of the criminal justice system, working in partnership with a variety of agencies as well as families experiencing challenges.

You'll thrive whether you're working independently or in teams, and you'll have a deep understanding of the importance of professional boundaries, health and safety and data security.
