The Pythian Club have a team of volunteers who have been receiving referrals from the City's Golden Ticket scheme. Gedling Borough Council, The Toy Library Scheme and Nottinghamshire County Council, they have been picking up and delivering prescriptions, doing shopping and delivering food to vulnerable people and low income families who are struggling with buying the essentials. We have also been doing telephone welfare checks on vulnerable and isolated people.

We have been given funding to provide children and families with physical equipment, arts and crafts materials, books etc and we have been delivering these around Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. This has been warmly welcomed by local communities

We are working with local Housing Associations and other organisations in putting together packs to be distributed to local people; especially those with children, which include items to help them stay active.

We run sports, music and dance sessions for the community too.

Qualifications, achievement and progress are often only conventionally recognised. The Safe House supports people to do well, even if they are not ‘conventional’ themselves. The Safe House mission is to bring particular and specialist experience and expertise to supporting people who are disadvantaged by the demands of attending school, college or university and in achieving recognised qualifications.

Activity at The Safe House focuses on:

- personal presentation skills development.
- stress-relief based therapy and counselling.
- teacher / facilitator workshops.

The Women's Centre Cornwall is run by women, for women. We have grown from our early roots as a Rape Crisis Centre into an innovative, award-winning feminist organisation which provides a wide range of services for women and girls in our communities. Our work with women living with the impact of sexual and domestic violence is our core specialism as we believe that there can be no real gender equality without a complete cessation of violence against women. In addition, we provide community-based activities across Cornwall and support women ex-offenders across Cornwall, Devon and Dorset, and in HMP Eastwood Park.

We are the UK’s leading voice on the link between nutrition, the brain and behaviour, transforming life chances through the right nutrition. We deliver change and turn research into impact by building nutritional and educational programmes in prisons, schools and other environments, creating shared resources for all, raising awareness through essay prizes and lectures, influencing public policy and pioneering research.
We bring together scientists, nutritionists, educationalists, cooks and caterers to further develop our robust evidence base and make the case for change. We are world-leaders in our field: our expert Board and Science Advisory Council includes leading academics globally on nutrition and the brain.

Thrive Inside delivers a mindfulness-based practice called iRest (Integrative Restoration) to prisons, military veterans and people caught up in addiction. It is currently delivered in group class settings and supported with one-to-one work where necessary.

We deliver an 8-week iRest course in HMPPS estates that is supported by a workbook designed to accommodate low-literacy users, along with handouts for each of the 10 steps of the iRest practice. We have produced a short 4- hour audio course that can be used in-cell along with the workbook, which we want to expand in every UK prison.

We currently run the courses in HMP Lewes and Rochester in partnership with Sussex Pathways

iRest is an evidence-based practice that has its roots in various different ancient meditation practices and has been approved of by the US army surgeon General for the military to use as a complementary approach for dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

thrivin’ together cic is a woman-led, lived-experience organisation dedicated to supporting women impacted by their own or someone else's gambling.

Founded by women with personal experience, thrivin’ together’s mission is to offer “choice, voice and change” for women across the UK . This means creating a safe space where women can seek help without stigma, make informed choices, and actively shape the services they receive. The organisation operates on principles of co-production and lived experience, ensuring that women who have lived through gambling harm are at the heart of designing and delivering support programs.

Together for Mental Wellbeing is a national charity that supports people with mental health issues to lead fulfilling and independent lives. We value people as experts in what works best for them, and each individual we work with influences and shapes the support they and others receive from us. We work with approximately 4,000 adults every month in around 70 locations and our services include support in the community, accommodation-based support, advocacy and criminal justice services. Tomorrow’s Women is a Charity for all women aged 18+ to make positive lifestyle changes. Working with female offenders, and those on the periphery, it is committed to reducing offending in adult women.
An award winning charity, with a multi-agency approach they support women through targeted interventions to address underlying support areas for each woman.
Open Monday-Friday 9am - 3:30pm they work across Wirral and Cheshire West & Chester. TW have achieved outstanding outcomes with women into employment, recovery and away from (re)offending through service engagement, learning opportunities & addressing behaviours in an all-female safe community hub.
Tomorrow's Women hosts the National Probation Service & Merseyside Community Rehabilitation Company whose dedicated team of Offender Managers supervise all female offenders subject to Community Orders and Licensed Conditions.
Referrals can be made via professionals or women can self-refer.

Unlock Drama (UD) has over eight years’ experience working across the criminal justice system, delivering in more than 30 prisons with groups including sex offenders, young offenders, women vulnerable prisoners and foreign nationals.

Prisons we work within include: HMPYOI Swinfen Hall, HMYOI Brinsford and HMP Send etc.

UD utilises creative methods, which offers a unique tool that encourages teamwork, confidence, communication skills, motivation, organisation, listening skills, leadership, resilience and more. UD deliver creative projects closely linked to rehabilitation and focuses on addressing dominant concerns within the prison estate such as Engagement in activities, Substance Misuse and Debt.

UD also delivers issue-based theatre within the community working with participants such as: recovering drug addicts, homeless, young people at risk of offending and ex-offenders.

Unshackle CIC is a dynamic Community Interest Company committed to dismantling the cycle of reoffending. Our mission is to empower individuals with criminal histories to reintegrate successfully into society. Through personalised 1:1 mentoring and targeted workshops covering mindset, life skills, mental health, and employability, we foster transformative change. We prioritise the fusion of expertise and lived experience, recognising the profound impact it has on our participants. Our approach extends beyond rehabilitation, aiming to build resilient communities by reducing recidivism, fostering social cohesion, and providing pathways to meaningful employment and unlocking the potential for brighter futures.

Valley Veterans provides support to vulnerable ex-Armed Forces members across the South Wales Valleys. We have developed stables and provide equine therapy with a horticultural area, as outside, positive, meaningful work is proven to benefit mental and physical health in a supporting environment with like-minded individuals and combats loneliness in those living alone with no family support. The site is accessible on a daily basis for members and will be expanded to include the local community. We host a weekly Breakfast Club each Thursday morning where professional assistance from the local Council and veterans agencies is available. We assist with housing, transporting our most vulnerable members to hospital or clinic appointments and collecting prescriptions. We provide a Prison Liaison Service for ex-Forces members on remand at Parc Prison, Bridgend and work closely with South Wales Police to assist those held in custody.

I teach self-esteem and confidence to children, young people, and women, in schools, groups, organisations, and one to one.

Supporting those in the criminal justice system and their families, and preventing and diverting young people and adults at risk of entering the CJS. We provide advice, guidance, advocacy, mentoring and cognitive behavioural therapy. Our trauma-informed service addresses conflict, violence and the destructive coping strategies young people and adults employ to protect themselves from emotional, mental and physical pain. Way4ward provides specialist high intervention coach mentoring and inspirational workshops to improve mindfulness, distress tolerance, deescalating irrational emotions, overcoming barriers to healthy emotions, and coping with resistance and conflict.

Wellbeing in Action exist to remove and prevent harm to people's physical, mental, financial, social and community health and wellbeing, through practical solutions that enable people to live their best life. We especially focus on supporting women who have faced trauma, including abuse, and their families. We provide a range of befriending services, specialist trauma therapy facilities and use social action to distribute aid such as household items, clothing, baby equipment and provide support as people rebuild their lives. We work on the basis of a transaction of kindness where every person has a time they need to reach out for help, and all equally have times they can extend to others. Maintaining pride, dignity and being a member for life, rather than being "treated" or "fixed" is part of our ethos. Our motto is 'If we can, we do' and we roll our sleeves up to meet individual needs that make a difference.

Wizer CIC was founded by an individual with significant amounts of lived experience of the criminal justice system. It seeks to break the cycle of offending by addressing the rehabilitative needs with the support of employees, volunteers and peer advisors, all of whom have lived experience themselves.
Wizer CIC are currently taking referrals for prison leavers 12 weeks prior to release and then working collaboratively with all agencies to ensure there isn't any overlap and duplication.
Specialist Navigators offer intensive support in the community to address the individuals needs and then look to transition into further ETE. Wizer has worked with an education providor for many years now offering fully funded sector based qualifications with full access to over 300 employers as part of the colleges wider network.
In addition, Wizer has working professional relationships within MoJ, HMPPS, Public Health, Humberside Police and the OPCC

Word on the Kerb C.I.C. is a Community Interest Company focused on bringing the arts to marginalised communities. The organisation serves individuals affected by the criminal justice system, homelessness, addiction, and poverty, using theatre, storytelling, and workshops to inspire change.

Its flagship solo show, Something to Take Off the Edge, explores life in prison, addressing themes of friendship, addiction, literacy, and mental health. The show is performed in prisons, hostels, and community centres, often followed by Q&A sessions and creative writing workshops.

The organisation also runs spoken word performances and workshops, empowering participants to build confidence, develop skills, and express themselves.

Future plans include expanding tours and enhancing workshops.

YMCA North Tyneside is a registered charity that supports
children and young people to be healthy, happy and connected. We focus specifically on young people through our supported accommodation (homeless young people with multiple and complex needs) and our youth and community work in local areas of high deprivation, some of the highest in the country. We support all ages in the community through our Nursery, Gym and Cafe. Our award winning (Youth Matter Awards, 2019) Supported Accommodation project has doubled in the last 18 months. We support young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessess across North Tyneside and neighbouring boroughs of Northumberland, South Tyneside and Newcastle. Our young people have multiple and complex needs such as mental health problems, learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders, attachment disorders ADHD and ADD. Many are young offenders and some have been in prison.
