Join ClinksNew Dawn New Day transforms the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged women. We specialise in working with women in the criminal justice system and those considered at risk of offending as well as women and young women who have experienced trauma, violence and abuse. The women we work with often have multiple and complex needs.
We offer a range of services including personalised casework support, advice, advocacy, life skills training, counselling and psychotherapy, mental health support, sexual health advice, confidence and self-esteem building activities, creative arts, volunteering and work experience opportunities, parenting support and evidence based domestic abuse programmes such as the Freedom Programme and Recovery Toolkit. For women in the criminal justice system, the above services and activities can be accessed as part of a post-prison resettlement plan as well as a personalised Specified Activity Requirement designed to address the 9 women’s offending pathways.

Our criminal justice Women's Programme is called "Just Women". 
Since 2010 we have provided intensive support to over 300 women. A Social Return on Investment analysis carried out with the support of the New Economics Foundation in 2012 revealed an initial SROI of £3.50 for every pound spent.
A recent analysis of 125 women who completed our specified activity programme during 2011 to 2012 revealed a reoffending rate of less than 2.5%.
We have a customer satisfaction level of over 97% and in 2011 we were one of the first small charities to be awarded the Customer Service Excellence Award. In 2013, Just Women was shortlisted for a Howard League Community Programmes Award.
We are passionate about our work with women in the criminal justice system and can deliver high quality, effective and personalised services which we are confident deliver real results.
