New Dawn New Day transforms the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged women. We specialise in working with women in the criminal justice system and those considered at risk of offending as well as women and young women who have experienced trauma, violence and abuse. The women we work with often have multiple and complex needs.
We offer a range of services including personalised casework support, advice, advocacy, life skills training, counselling and psychotherapy, mental health support, sexual health advice, confidence and self-esteem building activities, creative arts, volunteering and work experience opportunities, parenting support and evidence based domestic abuse programmes such as the Freedom Programme and Recovery Toolkit. For women in the criminal justice system, the above services and activities can be accessed as part of a post-prison resettlement plan as well as a personalised Specified Activity Requirement designed to address the 9 women’s offending pathways.
