Respond to our State of the Sector survey 2025
Deadline – 7 November 2025
Today, we are launching the 2025 State of the Sector survey, and we want to hear from you!
For all the voluntary organisations working in criminal justice, this is your chance to tell us how your organisation is faring.
We want to hear about the challenges facing your organisation or the people that you support as well as any successes, so that we can continue to platform the brilliant work of the sector. The views and experiences that you share will help us to influence key decision makers, both alongside you and on your behalf, and ensure that our support meets your needs.

What will the survey cover?
The survey will seek your views on a number of core questions, which will:

Aim to understand the experiences and needs of organisations, the people they support, and whether this has changed over time.

Explore what services sector organisations are delivering, if this has changed and why, and whether organisations feel they are able to meet the needs of their service users and why.

Help us to develop insight into the barriers to success and areas where support is lacking, alongside good practice and successes.

Examine how the context and challenges vary across different regions

Identify region-specific factors that influence the organisations’ performance and the needs of these organisations
-
Explore how organisations are funded and how their finances have changed over time.
We will also be holding a series of regional and thematic focus group sessions - please get in touch if you are interested. If the sessions are booked up, we will be able to hold one-to-one interviews with interested organisations. We are also able to support organisations, on a one-to-one basis, in completing the survey.
