My Life is seeking a Trustee to join its team of knowledgeable board members, striving for better outcomes in mental health across the UK.
A passion for mental health support is key, and any awareness or lived experience of the criminal justice system would be helpful, though not required.
Building a board that represents the variety of the communities we serve is a priority for us at My Life. We would love to see applications from people with diverse backgrounds and lived experience and we would be happy to support those who may not have previously volunteered as Trustees.
My Life is an innovative charity that connects people with their communities.Our mission is to work in a person-centred way with people of all ages who may need support to achieve a good life. To enable people to feel in control of their own lives, have the emotional support to get through the tough times and have the information and help they need to work out their own solutions.
About the role:
- Voluntary position (any relevant expenses reimbursed)
- Bi-monthly meetings via Microsoft Teams
- Opportunity to support impactful work improving mental health awareness and outcomes in marginalised communities
