Quality Officer - Justice
We are looking for a proactive and quality-focused individual to join our team as a Quality Officer - Justice within The Growth Company’s Curriculum and Quality Improvement function.
The core focus of the role will be quality sampling, quality checks, reporting and analysis. You will work closely with practitioners, managers and the wider Curriculum and Quality Improvement team to gather evidence, identify themes, highlight good practice and support continuous improvement across our services.
As your knowledge, confidence and understanding of our contracts develop, there will be opportunities to become involved in a wider range of quality and improvement activities.
This may include observations of practice, training delivery, audits, resource development, thematic reviews and quality improvement projects.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys understanding how things work, takes pride in producing high-quality work and is willing to get stuck in wherever support is needed.
This is a role for someone who is curious, adaptable and eager to learn within a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake quality sampling, quality checks and other quality assurance activities across Justice contracts.
Produce accurate reports that identify strengths, themes, trends and areas for development.
Support the provision of developmental feedback to practitioners and managers following quality assurance activities.
Maintain quality assurance records, management information and monitoring systems.
Support the Curriculum and Quality Improvement team with audits, reviews and compliance activities
Contribute to training, workshops, observations and standardisation activities as knowledge and experience develop.
Build positive working relationships with operational teams across multiple contracts and locations.
Undertake additional quality-related activities in line with business needs.
About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, organised and passionate about maintaining high standards.
You will have a strong attention to detail and enjoy understanding how things work, identifying areas for improvement and supporting others to develop. You should be comfortable reviewing information, asking questions and communicating your findings clearly and professionally. You don’t need to be an expert from day one, but you should be willing to learn and develop your quality assurance skills.
Most importantly, you will be:

Skills required
Whilst not essential, applications would be particularly welcomed from candidates who have experience of:
Quality assurance, quality improvement, compliance, auditing, monitoring or related activities.
Reviewing documentation, records, performance information or service delivery against expected standards.
Producing reports, analysing information or identifying themes and trends.
Providing coaching, mentoring, training or developmental support to colleagues.
Working within criminal justice, employability, education, skills, rehabilitation, public services or similar sectors.
