The Women’s Peer Service Co-ordinator will support the Service Manager in the successful delivery of the overall service.
They’ll be responsible for the detailed delivery of the service activities including, training, coaching and supporting the Peer Facilitators and Peer Mentors, facilitating the groups as and when needed, and being the day-to-day point of contact for the women that engage with the service.
The key objectives for the service are to recruit, support and coach Peer Facilitators and Peer Mentors to provide a blend of virtual and in-person peer support groups or short term 1:1 support in Brighton & Hove.
The service offers different support options for women through peer groups, short term 1:1 peer support, workshops and short courses as well as different development pathways and service user involvement opportunities.
It is the peer service that is setting the benchmark in moving towards a more co-produced model within BWC. Therefore flexibility in our delivery and approach is required as we respond to different ways of working.
