We are seeking a finance-minded professional to join our Board as Treasurer.

The Treasurer will provide strategic oversight and guidance to ensure RJ4All’s financial sustainability and good governance while supporting our mission to advance restorative justice locally and globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee budgets, financial planning, and reporting

• Chair the Finance & HR Committee

• Review management accounts and annual reports

• Advise the Board on financial strategy, risk, and compliance

• Support income generation and audit processes

• Uphold RJ4All’s restorative justice ethos in decision-making

Restorative Justice for All (RJ4All) is an international non-profit institute dedicated to preventing power abuse and promoting equality, human rights and community cohesion through restorative justice.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounting or financial management

• Understanding of governance, UK company law and CIC regulations

• Strong communication skills and high ethical standards

• Clear DBS check and RJ4All membership (can apply before appointment)

Desirable Qualifications

• Charity sector or NED/trustee experience

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

• Understanding of restorative justice and community development

Key Details

• Time Commitment: 4 Quarterly Board meetings, Quarterly Finance Committee meetings + 1 annual away day per year, regular online dicussions

• Honorarium: £50 per physical meeting (expenses covered) + £65 per hour for non-volunary work, optional paid consultancies

• Contract: 2-year renewable term
