The service you will work in….
Managing a 9 bed all male ex offenders supported accommodation service in Bromley and also the floating support team BTSS (Bromley Tenancy Support Services).
We offer support to service users who have a wide range of complex needs which may include liaising with police, probation services, housing, health and other external resources. We also support service users in maintaining and sustaining their tenancies and gaining meaningful training and/or employment opportunities.

A day in this role looks like….
As a Service Manager at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Criminal Justice Service. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.
A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:
- To lead the running and strategic development of the whole service.
- Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of partnerships and engagement strategies.
- To line manage, lead, motivate and support the integrated team, providing effective and inspiring leadership, management and support too all staff.
- To develop joint working and monitoring protocols with key stakeholders and partners for all parts of the service.
- To manage all elements of service performance related to the contract requirements including analysis of KPIs, outcomes and user experience measures.
- To ensure the continuous delivery of a high-quality service by ensuring that referrals, assessments, and safety and support planning procedures operate effectively, and that records accurately reflect the work being undertaken.
- To lead on the timely and accurate submission of all internal and external reports detailing interim strategies to address any areas of underperformance in line with contract requirements.
- To liaise with commissioners and other stakeholders to ensure that service is being delivered to a high standard.
- To lead on the development and implementation the service's annual Business Plans and Equality plans.
- Lead on the development and implementation of the co-production strategy.
- To ensure that the service achieves the agreed standards of service delivery in compliance with relevant legislation, external governance, contract requirements and Hestia policies and procedures.
- To ensure a healthy and safe environment for employees, service users, visiting professionals and other visitors by ensuring service delivery is in line with organisational procedures and H&S Legislation.

We are looking for candidates who bring a combination of passion, expertise, and dedication to the table. To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Demonstrable experience of managing accommodation based support services for people with multiple and complex needs.
- A strong understanding of Recovery approaches and co-production.
- Demonstrable experience of managing a team within a service supporting individuals with multiple and complex needs.
- Knowledge of issues affecting those individuals with a range of risks and support needs.
- Demonstrable experience of recruitment, induction, supervision, motivation, appraisal, training, discipline and grievance issues, performance monitoring and delivering consistently high delivery standards and service user standards., managing and keeping complex budgets.
- Excellent knowledge of Community Care, Criminal Justice and Homelessness Pathways, Health and Safety and welfare benefits legislation (including welfare reform).
- Knowledge of methods of assessing, formulating, implementing, recording, reviewing and auditing service users' support and safety assessment plans.
- Ability to positively promote the organisation at external events, including delivering presentations and creating marketing material.
- Good knowledge of MS Office systems and able to use computer systems including case management systems , ability to write & interpret complex reports.
- Knowledge and demonstrable experience of housing pathways, housing legislation and housing management experience including income collection from personal service charges and Housing Benefit.
- Excellent level of spoken and written English.
- Ability to work flexibly including limited out of hours working during the evening, weekends / bank holidays to scrutinise the delivery.
