Angela Lucas joined Clinks in September 2016 and is the Head of Support and Development. She leads on Clinks' work providing effective support to voluntary organisations working in criminal justice and developing programmes which seek to provide solutions to challenges the voluntary sector faces. She oversees Clinks' membership, events, and area-based support and thematic networks for organisations working in specific ways and with specific groups of people. Angela also oversees the work of the National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance (NCJAA).
Angela has worked in the voluntary sector since 2004, with over 10 years’ experience in the criminal justice sector, in both local and national infrastructure organisations. Prior to joining Clinks, Angela worked for Sefton CVS as a Prison Partnerships Liaison Officer in HMP Kennet, Merseyside; identifying, co-ordinating and strengthening voluntary sector engagement and partnership working within the prison and building relationships with key stakeholders across the criminal justice system and wider communities.
