Matt is London Development Officer at Clinks and supports 250 voluntary organisations working in the criminal justice system across the capital. He works directly with the Mayor of London’s Police & Crime Commission (MOPAC) and His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) in London, championing the important role voluntary organisations play in transforming lives. He sits on the Mayor of London’s Reducing Reoffending Board, and regularly shares his Lived Experience of the criminal justice system to develop best practice and opportunities for people who deserve a second chance.
Matt has substantial experience managing community programmes in the voluntary and government sectors. He has worked with local authorities across London, Public Health England, Sport England, and the National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance (NCJAA) to create springboards for positive change within disadvantaged communities.
Outside of work, Matt is a trustee of a sports charity promoting resilience amongst school children. He enjoys spending time with his young family and can often be found at Stamford Bridge cheering on Chelsea Football Club.
