Join ClinksThe Arkbound Foundation works with people from disadvantaged backgrounds which include all protected characteristics, as well as poverty, deprivation, homelessness, alcohol and addictions, victims of abuse and any form of disadvantage.
We got founded by an ex-prisoner, we are equality and lived experience led, are in close contact with the beneficiaries we are supporting.
We provide writing and publishing services, which include writing for wellbeing, improving educational and career related writing skills, employability, social integration, improving mental health and tackling isolation, mentoring and editing support to get into publishing and journalism.
We run writing workshops for prisoners, motivational writing competitions which tackle stigma and aid social integration, also innovational book publishing projects.
We provide supervised work placements, arrange accessible and inclusive cultural and social events, and keep an open door to our beneficiaries to join us.
