Join Clinks3 Pillars Project works within the criminal justice system, using a combination of teamwork and rugby coaching courses as a way of engaging young people to deliver positive role-modelling and mentorship. We target high-risk young people, including under-18s, to tackle violence in prisons and gang-related behaviour through positive intervention. We also provide emotional support and guidance during each course through group discussion sessions and one-to-one mentoring relationships directed towards rehabilitation and reintegration on release from prison. We provide long-term support to all course participants, including referrals to appropriate partner organisations and/or encouraging future participation in subsequent courses as assistant coaches and peer mentors.
