Join ClinksFounded in 2012, Key4Life is a dynamic, expanding charity which works on the front-line with young men (18 to 25 year-olds) in prison and those at risk of going to prison, helping them to find a new path and successfully reintegrate back into society through an innovative seven-step model. Key4Life empowers vulnerable young offenders, minimises barriers and creates opportunities to ensure successful rehabilitation and integration into society upon release. Key4Life's aims are to reduce youth re-offending rates and not only address symptoms but rather the root causes of re-offending.
Currently 74% of young offenders end up back in prison within 2 years of release (Ministry of Justice 2012). Participants who have been through the Key4Life programme are 4 times less likely to re-offend.
This year, Key4Life is running prison programmes for participants at HMP Thameside, HMP Forest Bank and HMP Fosse Way and preventative ‘At Risk’ programmes in London and Somerset.
