Supporting information
METRO is just beginning to work within prisons, having secured a 5-year contract, with Oxleas as the prime contractor, to provide sexual health services within the Greenwich prison cluster.
We are also in talks to provide spot-purchased Independent Advocacy in line with the Care Act to prisoners within the same cluster.
We have also attempted to launch a MSM (men who have sex with men) mentoring programme within London prisons in partnership with St Giles and Prison Reform Trust, though have yet to find a funder.
