“The deal on offer here is brilliant – it says ‘we will help you and get you back on track but in return you have to help your community’. Instead of being a problem they are becoming part of the solution.” Nick Hardwick (Chief Inspector of Prisons)
"The only tragedy is the fact that places are always limited and often there is not enough capacity to take on all the individuals who wish to engage with this project." (Source: Mariam Rashid, Probation Officer)
“It is one of the most exciting initiatives in tackling re-offending rates that I have ever come across. Their successful completion of the programme has many benefits. Firstly, it increases their employability. Secondly, driving offences are often the gateway to further offending. Finally, it improves their outlook on their future and gives them something which they feel is worth avoiding further offending for." (Simon Cooper, Probation Officer)
