Join ClinksWe Are With You was originally founded in 1967 as a parents' self-help group called the Association for the Prevention of Addiction (APA). APA became a Registered Charity and Private Company Limited by guarantee on 06 February 1991. In 1997, APA was re-branded and re-launched as Addaction and then further re-branded as We Are With You.
The charity provides substance misuse treatment recovery services to adults, young people and their families. We manage over 120 services across the UK, employing over 1200 staff and providing services to 30,000 persons per year.

Our Charitable Aims and Objectives are to provide a range of community based treatment and recovery services for drug and alcohol misusers and their families. Services provided include education and prevention initiatives, public health and accessible community drug services, arrest referral schemes, community based criminal justice projects, structured drug services for drug using offenders, residential rehabilitation and training for professionals.
