Join ClinksChange for Good is a resettlement charity based in London. We currently have mentoring programmes based in HMP Wandsworth, HMP Wormwood Scrubs, HMP Brixton and HMP Ford that match guys with a trained volunteer who gets to know them in prison, meets them at the gate and supports them as they resettle back into society.
In the community we have our Next Chapter project, which is a group that meets weekly. It is for men who want to stay out of prison and keep out. The group is run by the men themselves who become positive influences on each other provide mutual support. There is a monthly activity such as a visit to a museum, or a boat trip. The men take it in turns to cook healthy meals and the venue is located in central London.
The group aims to reduce isolation and to be a strong community for the men to belong to. The group is dynamic and the agenda is set by the men themselves. The only criteria is that you have spent time in custody and are serious about wanting change.

Supporting information
We have just appointed a new Outreach Worker in May 2013. We have just trained 8 new volunteers and are planning another training at the end of October 2013. Wandsworth Community Chaplaincy Trust is a partnership between Wandsworth prison, its multi faith chaplaincy and the community.
Twenty community chaplaincies form a national network the Community Chaplaincy Association WCCT working the Community Chaplaincy Association. WCCT working in South and Central London is also part of the London Community Chaplaincy Group.
The Wandsworth Community Chaplaincy Trust works alongside the resettlement department in the prison. Prisoners can prepare for release and address basic needs such as finance housing and employment.
Our befrienders are part of this preparation working alongside the prisoner and they continue to support him in achieving his goals after he is released.
