Join ClinksAs a national charity, United Response supports people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and / or mental health needs and we have extensive experience at developing services which are person centred and designed around the needs of the each person we are supporting. We know that one size does not fit all and core to our support is treating each person as an individual and designing our support around them – not the other way round. We do not try to ‘fit’ people into services, we try to provide support that is person-centred.
We have particular expertise working with people with more complex and challenging needs. 80% of our services include people with complex, multiple requirements, including support to a number of people who were resettled within supported living from long stay hospitals, and whose behaviours present significant challenges to services.
