Join ClinksWe aim to facitate confidence and lifeskills through the creative arts, access to culture and new technology. We work mainly with the offending community and young people who are at risk of offending. Stretch achieves its objectives by delivering a variety of innovative and bespoke projects, enhancing the rehabilitation and education of these marginalized communities. We are clear advocates of the benefits of cultural education in engaging into society those that have suffered social exclusion and fallen through the welfare net.
At present, our primary focus is the delivery of Stretch Digital, a digital literacy project with prisoners providing a platform for the making and dissemination of digital stories using technology to bridge the digital divide. We equip participants with skills in new media in order to share their personal experiences of the criminal justice system and the life that lead them there.
