Join ClinksThe RFEA's simple aim, since 1885, has been to help those leaving and those who have left the Armed Forces to find and to remain in employment throughout their working lives. We aim to make the client 'Job Ready' by signposting them to bespoke support required using our Nova Network of support and tracking this via our Nova Support team prior to finding them the right employment choice.
Project Nova is an early intervention scheme working in conjunction mainly with the Police and NHS dealing with Ex Military personnel who have been arrested or are on the periphery of doing so. Project Nova works with many partner organisations including HMPPS & CRCs and local authorities along with numerous military charities.

Supporting information
The Regular Forces Employment Association in partnership with Walking with the Wounded and the office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk believe that the following 'early Intervention/Diversion scheme’ template is the ideal solution to reducing the number of ex-military veterans entering the Criminal Justice System. It will be called 'Project Nova'
Veteran cohort - especially those with late on set Mental Health issues and to make early interventions that, if left undiagnosed, would lead to further deterioration of personal circumstance, loss of employment and a possible Prison sentence. To reduce re-offending by the ex-military community by Early Intervention and subsequent Diversion through engagement and appropriate signposting for bespoke support followed by a constant tracking method to ensure that re offending is reduced to a minimum.
