Join ClinksBLAST Foundation is a Christian "Through The Gate" Resettlement organisation, working with prisoners and ex-offenders and their families of all faiths and no faiths. BLAST aim to be provider of choice, for prisons and probation trusts wishing to reduce recidivism and improve resettlement for prison inmates who want to transform their lives and break their cycle of re-offending. BLAST achieves this through our transformation, employability & business programmes delivered in prison. These programmes combine and are supported by BLASTs mentor and resettlement services, to support ex-offenders and their families in the difficult task of re-integrating in society

Supporting information
BLAST is about change and we believe transformation at the heart of this and is within each person. Change happens through building relationships in prison, through-the-gate and into the community.
Students on BLAST's 5 week full-time in prison programme, develop new ways of thinking about themselves, confront their past and develop new perspectives for their future. BLAST deliver life & employability skill programmes, underpinned by our Mentor programme, in turn supported by caseworkers for effective resettlement. BLAST also operate our Meet@Gate service.
BLAST achieves this by using a co-operative, open and creative learning environment where relationships and students are valued. This builds self-confidence and empowers individuals to strive to reconcile their past and thus change their future.
BLAST work with a number of partner organisations and local community groups, including faith based organisations, with local employers (Retailers, Engineering, Councils etc...).
