Join ClinksCORE CIC was established in 2013 by George Charlton an individual in personal recovery from drug and alcohol addiction with the aim of supporting other socialy excluded and disenfranchised individuals who have experience of addictions to find recovery via different therapeutic mediums and use their 'Lived Experience' to reduce stigma and create empathy for those who suffer with addictions across the local community.
We work with individuals who have lived experience with problematic lifestyles owing to alcohol, drugs, or the criminal justice system and we help them to recognise that using their own live experiences to educate others can be such a powerful therapeutic medium not only to help themselves but also to inform the learnings of others be that with school children, police officers, social workers, drug and alcohol treatment providers and other individuals and services which come into contact with people who are disenfranchised within our communities.
