Call for evidence: creative arts in the criminal justice system
The University of the Arts London in partnership with Arts Council England and the NCJAA are in the process of updating the literature on creative arts in the Criminal Justice System. This will build on Richard Ings' key report Arts and Culture in Health and Wellbeing and in the Criminal Justice System: a summary of evidence (Arts Council England, 2018).
If you have conducted, commissioned or been involved in any evaluations or research on your work (or know of any other studies you think are key) on the CJS from 2018 onwards, we would love you to share it or any references, so we can include these findings in the updated review. Also feel free to share any studies that have been conducted but not submitted to the NCJAA's Evidence Library prior to 2018.
The resulting review will be used to inform a communication strategy and theory of change aimed at gaining meaningful engagement from policymakers, commissioners and other stakeholders in the arts in criminal justice sector.
