Season's greetings and a happy new year
& update from HMMPS Director General Chief Executive Amy Rees
As we reflect on 2024, we want to express our heartfelt thanks for your support and involvement throughout the year. Your commitment has been invaluable, and we are excited to continue working with you in 2025.
At Clinks, we are driven by an ambitious vision for the future and the immense potential of the voluntary sector we serve. Together, we aim to build and sustain a movement of organisations that play a crucial role in supporting individuals to desist from crime and transform their lives. Now more than ever, the voluntary sector’s contribution is indispensable.
Clinks seeks to empower the sector to deliver its best, ensuring that everyone who needs support can access it. Read our latest Annual Report for more information about how we've delivered against that ambition from 2023-24. Through our collective efforts and the steadfast backing of our members, Clinks continues to positively influence the criminal justice system. We remain steadfast in this commitment as we move into 2025.
This week Clinks Chief Executive Officer, Anne Fox received a letter from HMMPS Director General Chief Executive Amy Rees thanking the sector for its commitment and hard work this year. The letter covers information on funding as part of the latest spending review as well as the upcoming spending review, launched on 11 December. It also provides an update on the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), Commissioned Rehabilitative Services (CRS) and HMPPS grants. Clinks will continue to work with HMPPS to get clarity on timelines and allocations as a matter of urgency in the new year, and will press for timely and sufficient settlements that both recognise and enable the role of the sector. We have published the letter in full online to ensure the sector is kept informed.
Thank you for being part of this vital work. We wish you a peaceful and joyous festive season and look forward to our continued collaboration in the new year.
