Clinks announces new Chair
Introducing Mandy Mahil

Clinks is delighted to announce that Mandy Mahil will be joining the organisation as our new Chair, starting at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 3 December 2024. We are thrilled to have Mandy on board! With her wealth of experience and passion for supporting the voluntary sector within criminal justice, Mandy was a clear choice to guide Clinks moving forwards.
Mandy’s leadership is timely as Clinks launches its new strategy, which comes at a moment when criminal justice reform is urgently needed. In her new role, she is committed to ensuring that voluntary organisations - and those with lived experience - are represented in key decision-making spaces. With her leadership, Clinks will continue to advocate for systems change and be a champion for the voluntary sector working in criminal justice.
The Clinks team looks forward to working with Mandy to ensure Clinks is well positioned to meet the needs of the sector at this critical moment. We invite our members and the wider sector to join us in welcoming Mandy to Clinks. Her leadership marks an exciting time for our organisation, and we are eager to see the positive developments that lie ahead.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our outgoing Chair, Roma Hooper OBE, who has been a steadfast and inspiring leader for Clinks over the past six years. Her thoughtful leadership has laid a strong foundation for the organisation’s future.
