State of the Sector 2024 research is underway
Express your interest to join a focus group
Hello!
Hope you are keeping well.
We have begun our research for the 2024 State of the Sector report, and this year we are looking to go more in depth than ever!
We want to meet with people from organisations across the sector to understand and make sense of the experiences and forces that have shaped the last five years of the criminal justice voluntary sector.
With this research, which is being co-led by a team from the National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), we would like to bring together organisations from as many areas of expertise and regions of England and Wales as possible.
Make your voice heard
We will be holding a series of in-person and virtual focus groups, and (as necessary) smaller interviews in November. We would love to connect with you and/or someone from your organisation, to speak about your experiences and perspectives of the last five years.
It is vitally important that we hear from the voluntary sector working in criminal justice in London, so that we can understand the landscape across all boroughs. In London we know that there are a considerable number of specialist organisations. We want to ensure that these organisations take part in the research so that policy makers and commissioners are aware of the challenges that these organisations face, so please do join us.
The focus groups’ input will contribute to our State of the Sector 2024 report; highlighting the changes and challenges the voluntary sector, and its service users, are experiencing and how organisations are adapting.
The focus groups will also include an opportunity to connect with other organisations working in the criminal justice field and we will be providing lunch for everyone who attends. We also have several free tickets for the Clinks annual conference in December - for small organisations with an income of under £100,000, which will be made available on a lottery system.
