Morning keynote panel
The current state of racial inequity in the criminal justice system
Our morning panellists will share their views and experiences on the theme of the day, reflecting on what barriers remain in place for voluntary sector organisations working in the criminal justice system to be able to effectively tackle the problem and take meaningful action. We are pleased to welcome:

Afternoon keynote panel
What’s the solution? Let’s make race and justice everybody’s business and commit to taking action together
Our final panel of the day will bring together the learning from the day as well as views and suggestions for how the voluntary criminal justice sector can take meaningful action to address racial disparity within the criminal justice system moving forward. We are pleased to welcome:

Workshops
We will run three workshop series throughout the day, each with four individual workshops running concurrently for attendees to choose to participate in. See below for a list of people/organisation(s) facilitating each workshop in the series.
Workshop series 1
Will focus on; 'sustainability within the criminal justice system for organisations led by/for racially minoritised people'. We are happy to welcome our facilitators:

Workshop series 2
Will be themed around; 'understanding the needs of racially minoritised people and the importance of providing trauma informed, culturally sensitive support'. We are happy to welcome our facilitators:

- Salma Ullah & Sayeeda Ashraf - Shewise
- Sean Campbell & Keran Page - User Voice
- Jemmar Samuels - Collective Punishment campaign
Workshop series 3
Will address; 'how to influence the criminal justice system and achieve better outcomes for racially minoritised people'. We are happy to welcome our facilitators:
- Leila Usmani - Race Alliance Wales
- Fleur Okubule & Ghadah Alnasseri - Hibiscus
- Mark Blake - Criminal Justice Alliance
- Dez Brown - Spark2Life & Khatuna Tsintsadze - Zahid Mubarek Trust
Arts performances
The day will include performances from members of the National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance. Come along to take in performances from singer/actor, Funke Adeleke, and performance poet, Malcolm Farrell aka Cheekychecki.

Organisations dedicated to supporting racially minoritised individuals in the criminal justice system are encouraged to participate in Clinks' learning space at our conference. Come along and share valuable resources and information with the wider sector via an event stall. This unique chance to showcase best practices and engage in meaningful discussions with peers is open to all conference ticket holders. If you are keen on showcasing your work and making it accessible for display, please reach out to events@clinks.org after securing your ticket reservation. Please register your interest for a stall by Friday 10 November.
