Dear colleague,
Thank you for attending one of the HMPPS Stakeholder Events, in partnership with Clinks. It was great to see so many different organisations represented at the regional events and the virtual event.
As part of the ongoing effort to advocate for the sector, we ask that you help Clinks to do this by completing our State of the sector 2023 survey.
This is your chance to tell us about the challenges your organisation has faced over the last year and to help us influence key decision makers on your behalf and ensure that our support meets your needs.
Make your voice heard
We regularly meet with HM Prison and Probation Service and the Ministry of Justice to speak up on behalf of voluntary organisations and to capitalise on opportunities for the sector. But we need up-to-date evidence to do this effectively. That is why we are asking you to complete the survey. Your anonymised responses will contribute to our State of the sector 2023 report; highlighting the changes and challenges the voluntary sector, and its service users, are experiencing and how organisations are adapting.
Last year we heard from over 95 organisations, giving us vital evidence on how the voluntary sector in criminal justice is faring. This year we want to aim much higher! We need your input to:
- Understand the current landscape of the criminal justice voluntary sector
- Collect the robust evidence we need to influence for change
- Take a close look at the financial sustainability of the sector
- Celebrate the work of the sector.
Read our blog: State of the sector 2023 survey: why your response is crucial to find out more about how we use your responses and why your voice matters!
How do I take part?
Simply click the link and get started! We will ask about your organisation’s criminal justice work including the clients you support, commissioning and referrals, staffing, and volunteers. Please have numbers ready from the 2022-2023 financial year.
The survey closes on Monday 7 August. Please contact Clinks Policy Officer, Franklin Barrington, at franklin.barrington@clinks.org for any questions about the survey or accessibility requirements.
Help us raise the issues that matter to you with decision makers and to keep supporting you, and organisations like you.
