There are just 2 weeks to go to submit your application to be part of Insights23 – applications close 5pm Friday June 2nd
Insights23 have already received some great applications to host events: group activities, online and VIP events from across the criminal justice system. Feedback from Insights22 highlighted that colleagues and the sector valued the opportunity to connect and do something a little different, and so they are grateful to those who have submitted applications so far.
Remember, that Insights festival is free to attend and is delivered by, and for, staff across the criminal justice system.
Insights23 is about showcasing the breadth of innovative work taking place across prison, probation, youth services and wider justice services, of which the voluntary sector is an important and valued part.
Insights23 are keen to showcase regional partnership approaches and projects, and are particularly interested in events that aim to:
- benefit frontline delivery
- share learning and innovative practice
- promote evidence-based approaches to working with people in prison/on probation
- develop staff skills and professional networks
- provide staff with unique insights into different parts of the wider justice system
- offer new and exciting, bespoke opportunities that are not readily available
When you’re ready you can submit an offer for the Insights23 Festival programme (Microsoft forms).

Frontline Pass
In response to feedback from Insights22, and in an effort to improve equality of access to Festival tickets for operational staff who do not have regular access to IT, Insights23 are delighted to introduce the Frontline Pass. The Frontline Pass is available to all staff who work in an operational setting (e.g. prison, probation office, court, approved premises, unpaid work) who deliver, or support, frontline services and interventions.
This includes managers and administration staff who are based at operational sites. Keep a lookout for our comms from mid June. The Frontline Pass provides staff with early bird access to a portion of Festival tickets two weeks ahead of general release to wider criminal justice staff.
