Women’s network forum (Women only)
14:00, 13 June | London | free
This is a special in-person event hosted in partnership with Clinks member Clean Break. Join us for a performance of Catch by this ground-breaking theatre company who have been touring this type of work for the past decade to great acclaim.
The play follows the lives of three women, Christina, Susan and Rachel, each trying to turn her life around, and seeking support at a women’s centre. They have all come to the centre for different reasons: domestic violence, addiction, unsafe housing, and entanglement with the criminal justice system. The play sees them face multiple challenges and explores whether re-entry into the criminal justice system is inevitable.
This short play was developed with and is performed by women with experience or on the fringes of the criminal justice system. It will be followed by 50-minute workshop/discussion to explore in more detail the issues raised by the play. Book your place here.
