These events are suitable for voluntary organisations with an interest in influencing policy - from those that have a lot of experience who might want to pick up something new, to those who are just starting on their influencing journey. They are designed to:
- Inspire organisations to develop innovative strategies to transform services for people in the criminal justice system
- Give insight into the thematic areas covered
- Generate ideas about how organisations can join forces to achieve transformational change.
The seminars and coffee morning are stand-alone events, delivered as part of the Stronger Voice Project. The Stronger Voice programme is funded by the Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales, and aims to help the voluntary sector working in criminal justice to develop a unified and influential voice, at both a national and regional level. Through this programme, Clinks is bringing together experts across policy, campaigns and communications for a range of free events, training and coaching opportunities to support organisations of all sizes to feel more confident in influencing policy and campaigning for change.
Please keep track of all usual Clinks communications channels for future opportunities - our website, Light Lunch, Twitter and LinkedIn. If you have any questions about the project or would like to learn more, please do get in touch with Clinks Senior Policy Officer Olivia Dehnavi at olivia.dehnavi@clinks.org
