Workshop and panel discussion bookings are now open!
Thank you for booking a ticket for the 2022 Clinks annual conference and AGM, we are really looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday 22 November. We have now finalised our agenda for the day and are excited to announce that our keynote speakers for the morning will be Justin Russell, His Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Probation and Kilvinder Vigurs, Regional Director for London Probation at His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service, who will be sharing views on their roles and the value of the voluntary sector to the probation service. In the afternoon our keynote speaker Phil Copple, Director General Operations at His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service, will be speaking about the ongoing recovery for prisons following the pandemic and future plans for prison regimes.
In the morning there will be two concurrent workshops running:
- Bridges from prison: working together to build the case for jobs and relationships - delivered by Frameworks UK.
- Progress and prejudice: Shifts in UK employer attitudes to hiring people with convictions - delivered by Working Chance.
In the afternoon there will be two concurrent panel discussions taking place:
- Prioritising the wellbeing of our workforce – how can we ensure staff and volunteers feel valued?
- Funding for the future.
We would like to invite everybody to book onto one of the morning workshops and one of the afternoon panel discussions in advance of the conference so that all runs smoothly on the day.
Further details on the content of the sessions outlined above, along with details of the afternoon panellists and how to book your space, can be found here. Booking will remain open until Friday 18 November and any remaining attendees who have not signed up will be assigned automatically. If you have booked a ticket on behalf of somebody else, please forward this email onto them to allow for them to select the sessions they would like to attend.
Kindest regards,
