Dear Colleague,
How is the voluntary sector in criminal justice faring in 2022?
We have extended the closing date for the State of the sector survey, so there is still time for you to share your views. Do not miss this opportunity to make your voice heard and contribute to a vital source of evidence about the voluntary sector in criminal justice. The survey takes only 15 -20 minutes.
Why it is so important?
We regularly meet with key decision makers to try to ensure the voluntary sector’s role, knowledge and expertise is reflected in government policy and to maximise opportunities for the sector. We want to ensure that any distinct challenges or advantages experienced by providers who are working within Wales are shared. Our State of the sector research is vital for us to do this effectively.
We want to hear from organisations working in Wales
Last year 28% of responders stated that they deliver services in Wales. For us to speak up on your behalf and make sure our support is meeting your needs, we need up-to-date evidence on how you are faring. That is why we are asking as many of you as possible to take our short survey.
We want to fully represent the experience of this sector, the challenges you are facing and your successes. Let us bring together and raise the collective voices of providers in Wales so we can influence change where gaps exist and needs are identified.
How you can take part
If you are from a voluntary sector organisation working with people in contact with the criminal justice system or their families within Wales, we want to hear from you so that we can raise the issues that matter most to you and your service users.
Complete our short survey to tell us about your organisation’s criminal justice work - the people you support, your services, staffing and volunteers, commissioning and referrals - for the 2021-2022 financial year.
Help us influence change for the better, respond by Monday 1 August.
