Prison education service – what should its future look like?

Clinks is holding an online event where we will be joined by Abigail Farley, the Prison Education Service Programme Director at HMPPS. This will be an opportunity to find out more about the programme and for voluntary organisations to contribute thoughts on what the future prison education service should look like. NCJAA Writing development workshops: writing reports

This year the National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance (NCJAA) will be working in partnership with the Royal Literary Fund to deliver free writing development training for individuals and organisations delivering arts-based services and projects in the criminal justice system.
This two-part training programme will help attendees write reports that convey messages effectively and efficiently. Through writing exercises and discussion, you will discover how to organise information and approach the different stages of producing a report from initial ideas to final draft. Book your place here
Navigating the criminal justice system workshop

Are you new to working or volunteering in the criminal justice system? Do you have volunteers or staff members who want to increase their understanding of the criminal justice system?
This workshop will explore the different elements of, and the various structures within, the criminal justice system, including government departments, regional and local statutory agencies, and the role of the voluntary sector, the services they provide and its work in supporting people. All Wales Criminal Justice Forum

Our Wales criminal justice forums bring together partners working across Wales in the criminal justice system, providing an opportunity for people to find out about the latest government policy developments impacting organisations working in Wales. These events also provide the space to network with other organisations, discuss opportunities for joint working and offer each other peer support.

North of England Criminal Justice Forum

This criminal justice forum has been organised to bring together partners working across the criminal justice system in the North of England. The forum will provide an opportunity for people to hear about current and future developments; discuss policy and practice, opportunities and challenges; and strengthen partnership working.
The forum is open to organisations based or working in the North West, Greater Manchester, Yorkshire and Humber and the North East. Book your place here
