Clinks runs events and training for voluntary organisations working in the criminal justice system. We hear time and time again that organisations feel stronger alongside others and enjoy being part of a well-connected network. Workshop: A trauma-informed approach and the Working with Trauma Quality Mark

Navigating the criminal justice system – workshop

The criminal justice system as a whole can be quite daunting to understand because of both its size and complexity. The workshop will explore the different elements of, and the various structures within it. It will explain government departments, regional and local statutory agencies, and the role of the voluntary sector, the services it provides and its work in supporting people. It’s a great introduction for new staff and volunteers, or a welcome refresher for those who need it. Book your place here
Improving health and well-being outcomes for women in prison and upon their release

The National Women’s Prisons Health and Social Care Review (Women’s Review) is a partnership between NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE/I), and Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS). Its purpose is to improve health and social care outcomes for women in prison and upon their release and will report in Summer 2022. On behalf of the Women’s Review, Dr Kate Paradine, Chief Executive of Women in Prison and Jenny Talbot, Independent Chair of the Women’s Review, are holding an online workshop to give updates on emerging findings and answer any questions you may have. All Wales criminal justice forum

Our All Wales criminal justice forums bring together partners working across Wales in the criminal justice system. They allow people working in the criminal justice system to find out about latest government policy developments impacting organisations working in Wales. These events also provide the space to network with other organisations, discuss opportunities for joint working and offer each other peer support. Forums are open to all organisations working in the criminal justice system in Wales. Book your place here
