A matter of fact: what the evidence tells us
19th October - 14th December | online | free
Clinks is launching an event series to accompany our Evidence library, giving you the chance to hear from the experts themselves.
Whether you are campaigning for change, designing new services, or submitting a funding bid, having access to the most up-to-date evidence is critical. Clinks’ online Evidence library is designed to support voluntary organisations working in the criminal justice system with access to the most up-to-date evidence about a range of different activities and interventions. It aims to make it easier for organisations to build their practice on the best evidence and to encourage commissioners to award contracts and grants to providers who work in this way.
Our event series: "A matter of fact: what the evidence tells us" will feature online conversations with the authors of our evidence reviews. Not only will you get the chance to hear leading academics present the latest research but you will be able to ask them your own questions.
In the first three conversations, we will be looking at:
- Working with life sentence prisoners | Serena Wright and Susie Hulley | 19th October
- Community empowerment approaches | Patrick Williams | 16th November
- Peer mentoring in the criminal justice system | Gill Buck | 14th December
Keep an eye on our website and in Light Lunch for information on future events in this series.
