Understanding the RECONNECT: care after custody service
10am-12pm, 9th June | online | free
Join us to find out more about the RECONNECT: care after custody service.
RECONNECT is an NHS England and NHS Improvement service that starts working with people before they leave prison, where they have access to a RECONNECT worker, and helps them to make the transition to community-based services that provide the health and care support that they need.
At this event, we will be hearing from Kate Morrissey, the National Implementation Lead for RECONNECT, as well Revolving Doors Agency’s Lived Experience team who were key to its design and development. We will also be hearing from a RECONNECT provider about the impact of their service on people in contact with the criminal justice system.
There will be an opportunity for all participants to ask questions and see how the RECONNECT service fits in with their work, how the RECONNECT service is continuing to develop, and how the people they work with might benefit from the service.
