Have your say on what Clinks Thinks
Influencing criminal justice policy - what should we prioritise?
Clinks thinks commissioners and providers in the health and criminal justice systems should work together to prioritise improving health and wellbeing and continuity of care. This should include investment in prevention, early identification of people with health needs, diverting people into treatment where appropriate and ensuring continuity of care for people as they enter prison, move between different prisons, or on release back into the community.
This is one of our many policy priorities as set out in our 2017 Clinks Thinks publication. The time has come to update these priorities to ensure we advocate for issues that matter to you.
If you’re a voluntary organisation working with people in the criminal justice system, we want to hear your thoughts on our current policy priorities and find out what else you would like to see Clinks advocate for on behalf of your organisation and the people you support.
Help us by filling out a short survey, that only takes 8 minutes to complete.
What you tell us will help inform our future influencing activity and a new edition of Clinks Thinks which we aim to publish in 2021.
Following the survey, we will continue to work with the sector to refine our policy priorities and have further discussions through our criminal justice forums and thematic networks. Find out more about this work in our latest blog.
