Greater Manchester and HMPPS co-commissioning probation services: Personal Wellbeing and Accommodation contract lots
17th December, 9:30am-11:00am | online | free
This is the second in a series of engagement events that Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and Clinks are hosting to help voluntary organisations understand the co-commissioning process for probation services in Greater Manchester as part of the new probation model.
This event will specifically be looking at the Personal Wellbeing contract lot and the Accommodation contract lot.
Greater Manchester will not be procuring probation services through the Dynamic Framework commissioning process from June 2021. Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) is instead co-commissioning these services with GMCA.
This Greater Manchester devolved approach is an alternative route to HMPPS's Dynamic Framework. Our first event explained the flexibility Greater Manchester has to diverge from national or standard policy and direction, an opportunity afforded by the Justice Devolution agreement with the Ministry of Justice.
