Health and justice network meeting
3rd November | online | free
This virtual network meeting is for voluntary sector organisations working in the criminal justice system that deliver health-based services.
Given the second wave of Covid-19 and the number of local lockdowns taking place across England and Wales, we want to continue having conversations about the impact of Covid-19 on your organisation and the people you work with.
However, we also want to use this space to discuss pressing health issues outside of Covid-19 that are affecting people in contact with the criminal justice system, and the organisations that support them. These issues include (but are not limited to):
- Substance misuse and alcohol misuse
- Mental health
- Physical health
- Ageing
- Pregnancy and maternity
- Primary and secondary healthcare experience
- Disabilities.
These meetings will provide the opportunity to hear from Clinks’ policy team, as well as a chance to share updates and concerns.
