An introduction to service user involvement
14th September, 2:00 - 3:30pm | free | online | members only
Would you like to change how you involve people with lived experience in your work, but aren’t sure where to start? Are you unsure of how to involve people with lived experience when there are Covid-19 restrictions? Or do you have an innovative approach that you’d like to share?
Involving people and families with lived experience in designing and delivering services is key to the difference we can make in the lives of people in contact with the criminal justice system.
At this meeting of our service user involvement managers’ network, you can hear from a diverse range of organisations working with people in contact with the criminal justice system, who have successfully introduced service user involvement into the heart of their work, both before and during Covid-19, and from ‘experts by experience’ who are now helping to shape the services that they use, for the benefit of others.
There will be the opportunity to get practical advice, as well as opportunities to discuss the challenges you face and how to take the next steps in embedding service user involvement into your work in the context of Covid-19.
