Clinks’ 21st Annual General Meeting
What should happen to people who commit a criminal offence?
21st November 2019 | York | free
We are delighted to invite you to attend Clinks’ 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM). Our AGM is a well-attended and lively event, offering an opportunity to network, ask questions and comment on Clinks' work and our priorities for the year ahead.
This year, as part of the Monument Fellowship, Clinks and the National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance have edited the book: Crime and Consequence - a collection of contributions on the question “What should happen to people who commit a criminal offence?” At our AGM we will host a panel discussion on the same question with contributors including Sir Brian Leveson PC; Dr Ben Crewe, Institute of Criminology, Cambridge; and Sofia Buncy, Muslim Women in Prison Project.
The event will be followed by a drinks reception where you will have a chance to network with fellow members, policy makers and funders.
The AGM allows us to carry out business vital to our work, including electing trustees. You can find details of the current trustees here.
Clinks’ members have the right to appoint a proxy to exercise their rights to attend, speak and vote at the AGM. Appointment of a proxy must be made using the proxy form. The completed form must be emailed back to events@clinks.org or posted to the address below to arrive no later than Monday 18th November 2019.
Click to download the provisional agenda and formal notice, minutes of the last meeting and financial accounts.
If you are an unfunded organisation and would like to attend the AGM but would find transport costs prohibitive, then please contact us.
Please confirm your attendance using our online events booking system or fill in the reply form and email it to events@clinks.org or send by post to: Tavis House, 1 - 6 Tavistock Square, London WC1H 9NA.
