HM Prison and Probation Service launches its grant funding programme for 2020-2022
Voluntary organisations working in the criminal justice system have four weeks to apply for funding through the HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) grant programme for 2020-2022. The programme aims to enable voluntary organisations to contribute to better outcomes for people in prisons, under probation supervision and youth custody services. To apply, organisations must use the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) Sourcing Portal and submit by 10am on 1st November 2019.
There are four grant themes that organisations can apply for funding under. Grants from £50,000 - £250,000 can be awarded. The four themes are:
- Improving support for families and significant others (ITT 3674)
- Improving outcomes for those with protected characteristics (ITT 3675)
- Improving health and well-being (ITT 3677)
- Improving safer custody across the prison estate (ITT 3676).
Clarification questions must be raised by 10 am on 16th October 2019 via the MoJ Sourcing Portal.
